To use this menu planner:
  1. Select a daily planned limit (optional) for calories, fat, or carbohydrates.
  2. Select the meal you are planning (and optionally select a food type to see wider range of foods).
  3. Select a food item and the number of portions of that item.
  4. Click the calculate button to see the values for your selections (optional).
  5. Click the add to menu button.
  6. Repeat as needed for the same or other meals to plan.

Menu Planner

This interactive menu planner is designed to guide daily food and meal choices based on one day's calorie allowance. It may be used in advance to plan a meal, or at the end of a day to add up total calories, as well as fat, and carbohydrates consumed. This meal planner is especially helpful for weight loss or anyone watching their diet. At this time only 1 limit type can be set so users should keep an eye on the data to see how other areas are affected. For example, if you are watching calories and fat and you select the calories limit then be sure to keep an eye on the fat totals. The food type menu includes "fast food" which is provided for educational purposes only. We do not recommend "fast food" for weight loss!
